Hi, I’m Karen.

Firstly I would like to say I am so happy you are here and thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website ♡

When my first daughter Isla started the weaning stage, it was important to me to let her explore different foods, tastes, textures. It is such an important sensory milestone for them that I wanted her to have fun with it, but I quickly learned with this came lengthy clean ups after mealtimes, snack times etc…. 

I would spend hours cleaning up after mealtimes, snacks, multiple outfit changes every day, because her clothes were getting ruined with stubborn stains. I hated when I would have to throw away clothes when they got too stained beyond repair. All this became very expensive very quickly and very wasteful too. Not to mention the washing machine on repeat!.

I was a first time mum and I was learning on the job 😅 (like all aspects of motherhood right?!) and it was going to be very much trial and error until I found something that worked for us. I didn’t really know what I was looking for until I would find it, if that makes sense, but I did know I was tired of spending hours cleaning and ruining her cute outfits and needed a solution.

I tried lots of different style bibs and plenty of long sleeve bibs too, but I always found it hard to find something that didn’t look too garish or made from stiff fabric. Lots of bibs would actually end up distracting Isla and rather than eat she was spending mealtime trying to take off the bib.

I knew I wanted to source a better product and create my own business to help other mammas out there! 

Fast forward to 2022 and here I am finally launching Little Raine & Co.

Little Raine has a very special meaning to me and is named after my two rainbow daughters, Isla & Amelia. ♡

Devastatingly, on August 12th 2021, our beautiful daughter Amelia was born peacefully sleeping. It has been a truly devastating time in our lives and the hardest thing to ever go through. Words can't describe as a mother losing your baby, the pain is unbearable and your heart breaks into a million pieces. Amelia is our beautiful baby and will always be part of our family and in our minds in all we do. 

'& Co' is also a very special meaning. '& Co' is for all the other little angels out there gone too soon, both mine and yours ♡

Life really is so short and it's so important to do what makes us happy and to live everyday by enjoying the small things, as they really are the big things, the important things, make those memories.
